Have you been told you need to:
- BLOG for your business?
- Start sending out an EMAIL NEWSLETTER?
- Publish a BYLINED ARTICLE?
- Plan an EVENT?
Are you even sure why these could be important to your business?
And do you wonder how to even start?
I’m Tobi Schwartz-Cassell, a seasoned content and event marketer, and there’s one thing I can tell you with absolute certainty: nothing is a one-size-fits all, especially your marketing plan.
I make life easier for my clients by taking on the projects they keep putting off, like:
- Editing and Proofreading
- Email Marketing
- Event Planning and Marketing
- Magazine Article Writing (trade and consumer publications)
- Media Kits
- Press Releases
- Sell Sheets
- Website Content
In addition to these and other services, I also specialize in Long-Term Care. I co-authored the book “Adding Value to Long-Term Care,” published by Wiley, and have written for national trade publications including Long-Term Living Magazine.
In 2006, I founded Girlfriendz Magazine, which I ran for seven years. Girlfriendz was created to fill the void that existed in publications and events of interest to Baby Boomer Women at the time. I was honored with a number of awards for Girlfriendz, and my magazine was deemed the first regional magazine devoted to Baby Boomer Women by the National Association of Baby Boomer Women based in Illinois.
So, are you ready to get started?

As a Constant Contact Solutions Provider, I have been approved by Constant Contact to use their logo in my practice, which offers communication consulting services to my clients. They provide me with continuing education, and with discounts that I can offer to new clients. Please contact me for a conversation about this part of my practice.
Q: Why did you name your company Franks & Beans?
A: My parents’ names were Frank & Bea and I wanted to pay tribute to them.
Q: But aren’t you a vegetarian?
A: Sure am! We’re talking tofu franks!
Q: Are you the same Tobi who was with Girlfriendz?
A: Yes! I am the proud founder and former editor-in-chief of Girlfriendz Magazine.
Q: Are you the same Tobi I used to hear on the radio?
A: Yes again! I was in radio news for 20 years, mostly at WWDB-FM. I did news on Sid Mark’s “Friday with Frank” show, as well as for talk show hosts Irv Homer, Susan Bray, Dom Giordano, Dominic Quinn and so many others.
Q: Of all the services you provide, what’s your favorite?
A: I love them all. I enjoy finding out all that I can about a client’s business, then doing competitive research so that I can put together a professional marketing piece or entire branding package. I also derive true satisfaction from planning events, because after all the hard work, I get to take a step back and watch the attendees have fun and form lasting friendships.
