OUR WOMEN’S EXPO IS BIGGER AND EVEN BETTER THIS YEAR!

Join us for:

Weller Books 2The author of seven books – three of which are NYT Bestsellers – Ms. Weller is a Senior Contributing Editor at Glamour, a writer for Vanity Fair, and a former contributing editor to New York Magazine. She is respected for her comprehensive, evocative investigative writing about all aspects of women’s lives and issues. She has also written major pieces for Rolling Stone, The Village Voice, Ms., Self, The New York Times Book Review and numerous other publications.

Ms. Weller’s provocative book, Raging Heart: The Intimate Story of the Tragic Marriage of O.J. and Nicole Brown Simpson, was at the top of the national news in 1995, and was a NYT Bestseller. Based on exclusive interviews with almost all of the couple’s best friends and Brown Simpson’s family (when they were talking to no one else), the book broke news on the complex interpersonal events that likely led to the murders and broke a major prosecution witness in the case.

A member of the board of directors of Sanctuary for Families, New York State’s largest domestic violence agency, she also sat on the board of directors of Veritas, a New York-based substance abuse agency, featuring a Young Mothers’ Program that serves mothers of young children who are getting off drugs.

NON-PROFIT WE ARE SUPPORTING: Cantor Scott Borsky’s Animal Rescue Center (ARC), is a 501(c)(3) based in Cherry Hill.

The ARC’s 24/7 mission is to keep feral cats safe and healthy, and to spay/neuter and vaccinate as many as possible. In addition to the humane aspect of the ARC, there is another focus: to keep neighborhoods safe. The spay/neuter aspect cuts down on the number of feral cats in each neighborhood, and the vaccinations attempt to stem rabies and other heinous diseases.

In addition to this, Cantor Scott actively helps stock pet food for the local animal shelters. He also provides pet food to local food pantries, and, when he has the funding, helps as many needy families as he can with veterinary bills, all in an effort to help these families who so desperately want to keep their beloved pets. It also helps cut down on the pet population at local shelters.

We encourage our guests, vendors and sponsors to bring in-kind donations for the ARC: cat food and/or dog food (dry and canned), paper towels, paper goods, clean used sheets, towels, comforters, tarps to protect from rain and snow, etc. Cash and checks will also be very much appreciated. No amount too small.
