Blogging, Editing, Proofreading

Tobi Schwartz-Cassell, Owner of Franks & Beans LLC

Have you been told your company needs to:

  • Have a SOCIAL MEDIA presence?
  • Start BLOGGING?
  • Produce an EMAIL NEWSLETTER?
  • Publish a BYLINED ARTICLE?
  • Plan an EVENT?

Are you even sure why these can help grow your business?

And do you wonder how to even start?

I’m Tobi Schwartz-Cassell, a seasoned content and event marketer, editor and proofreader, and a Certified Constant Contact Solutions Provider.

There’s one thing I can tell you with absolute certainty: there is no one-size-fits-all marketing plan. Every single business is unique.

I make life easier for my clients by taking on the projects they keep putting off, like:

I also specialize in writing about Long-Term Care. I co-authored the book “Adding Value to Long-Term Care,” published by Wiley, and have written a number of articles for national trade publications.

I had the honor of interviewing Barbara Eden of “I Dream of Jeannie” for Girlfriendz Magazine.

In 2006, I founded Girlfriendz Magazine, which I ran for seven years. Girlfriendz was created to fill the void that existed in both publications and events of interest to Baby Boomer Women at the time. I was honored with a number of awards for, and my magazine was deemed the first regional magazine devoted to Baby Boomer Women by the National Association of Baby Boomer Women based in Illinois.

Over the seven years I published Girlfriendz, I had the honor of interviewing Barbara Eden of “I Dream of Jeannie,” Marlo Thomas of “That Girl,” Tina Louise of “Gilligan’s Island,” Mayim Bialik of “The Big Bang Theory,” singer Dionne Warwick, comedians Wanda Sykes and Margaret Cho, TV actress, talk show and game show host Sherri Shepherd, author Lisa Scottoline, among others.

Wanda Sykes is just one of the celebrities I interviewed for Girlfriendz Magazine.

As a Certified Constant Contact Solutions Provider, I have studied and been tested on Constant Contact email marketing software. As such, I am authorized to use their tools, as well as their logo. I receive continuing education, and am periodically offered discounts that I can offer to new Constant Contact clients. Click here to find out more.

The Frank & Bea behind Franks & Beans LLC

Q: Why did you name your company Franks & Beans?
My parents’ names were Frank & Bea and I wanted to pay tribute to them.

Q: But aren’t you a vegetarian?
A: Sure am! We’re talking tofu franks!

Q: Are you the same Tobi who was with Girlfriendz?
A: Yes! I am the proud founder and former publisher and editor-in-chief of Girlfriendz Magazine.

Q: Are you the same Tobi I used to hear on the radio?
A: Yes again! I was in radio news for 20 years, mostly at WWDB-FM. I did news on Sid Mark’s “Friday with Frank” show, as well as for talk show hosts Michael Smerconish, Irv Homer, Susan Bray, Dom Giordano, and so many others.

Q: Of all the services you provide, what’s your favorite?
A: I love them all but I especially enjoy finding out all that I can about a client’s business, then doing competitive research so that I can put together a professional marketing piece or entire branding package. I also derive true satisfaction from planning events, because after all the hard work, I get to take a step back and watch the attendees have fun and form lasting friendships.
